This is typical, very clear and simple! It is about domination. 
The fact is other religious symbols are offensive to Islam and Muslims. 
Some Muslims demolish crosses and burn churches in Iraq, Syria, Egypt and other countries on videotapes because they can. 
Similar Muslims demand to remove crosses from Catholic Schools in the USA because they can’t demolish them. It may sound crazy to go to a religious institute and demand to remove their symbols or icons because it’s offensive to your religion! 
Why the hell do you have to go there anyway???! It is exactly the same concept of going to a foreign country and demand to change its customs, culture, dress code and laws to suit your religion. This is not about freedom, this is about dominating when in the majority and trying to dominate when in the minority.
