Nonreligious people commit same crimes like the ones committed by the religious. However, that is not a justification for crimes. A crime is a crime. So, If nonreligious and religious people commit the same crimes, then why religions claim the ownership of morality?! and why do we believe that without religion there will be no morals?

Nonreligious people commit crimes because they are people not because they are nonreligious. Religious people commit similar crimes in spite of being religious, also because they are people.

So, what advantage did religion give to those criminals? except for forgiveness or justification. Actually, many have used religion to justify their crimes like during the Inquisition.

Again, responding to Polygamy, euthanasia, and fetuses. The norm to you, us, and the west, monogamy is unacceptable and considered a crime because that is our norm. 150 years ago slavery was very normal not a crime, now it is considered a horrendous crime. The prophets of God, Abraham, Issac, and Jakob, and the chosen people of God had polygamy as a very normal part of life, not a crime until 2000 years ago. Nowadays, Polygamy is very normal in many parts of the world. In spite of our culture and our religious background criminalize polygamy, it is not a crime in the rest of the world.

Actually, Polygamy could be a very reasonable and the only solution for a society to survive and not extinct if most of its men died in wars. This hypothetical society would be left with a ratio of several women to each surviving man. It would make sense for each man to take more than one wife to balance the problem and ensure the fertility of the remaining females to have a new generation large enough in number for this society to survive. Most animal societies are based on polygamy to ensure the survival of the fittest in the species.

See, It's all relative, a religious crime here is not a crime there! A crime today was not a crime yesterday and vice versa. Right and wrong, good and bad, culture, religious rules are all variables depending on where and when we are. We have the brains and the knowledge to set our own rules based on our humanity. And we must assign only intelligent, knowledgeable people not ignorant people to set the rules. And I add never assign someone who's an asset is only the knowledge of religion to set the rules because the knowledge of one religion is ignorance of other religions and most importantly ignorance of science and knowledge. And it is very obvious with countless evidence that science and knowledge are the pillars of advance to a better life.

I am against the use of any religion to set laws and ethics or force them on everyone because beliefs contradict each other.


About killing a viable baby, of course, it is a murder and none ethical. However, believing a sperm and an egg in a Petri dish is a person is scientifically ridiculous. I don't accept it because it is a half-knowledge concept.
If we apply the same principle, the current ability to create or grow a person from any cell makes the use of oral contraception pills a murder, the use of IUD a crime, and male Masturbation is a holocaust of millions of life potential cells. Every ova wasted without fertilization in a menstrual period is a Murder, sneezing or scratching your nose is killing millions of cells with potential life.
If you deny the fact the Catholic Church or Orthodox Church force believers to abide by their roles or ban contraception, you need to read different sources of history, compare and question. 
You are partially right if you say the Church does not do it ANYMORE but this only because the authority has been taken away from the church in the last couple hundred years by the industrial and technological revolution in Europe which is Knowledge. Over a period of 500 years, the Catholic Church had brutally tortured, burned alive and killed between 58 to 60 million Christians during the Inquisition. Why? Because it had the power to do so. We all know the inquisition is forcing the Christian faith and beliefs on everyone. There are museums in Europe displaying the torture machines like the Wheel, the Nails coffin, and the pliers used to pull peoples' nails. All were used by the Catholic Church to control people during the inquisition or the dark ages. The Dark Ages are the ages when the Christian Catholic Church took control over Europe. The Coptic Orthodox Church could not do the same because the pagan Roman Empire has oppressed it for 300 years, then the Roman Church for another 300 years, followed by the oppression of the Islamic invasion for the last 1400 years. However, when the Orthodox Church was dominant at the time of the Bishop Cyril of Alexandria 415 AD, The Orthodox Christians lead by the Bishop massacred and mutilated the body of the philosopher and scientist Hypatia of the Alexandria School and Library for heresy. Also, the Church harshly punished the Gnostic Christians for having a different view of Christianity. The description of the death of Arius on entering the Constantine’s Forum is a typical murder or poison as his bowels spleen, and liver came out of his opened body- exactly like the description of Judas death in Acts. Alexander of Constantinople did not want to meet Arius in spite of the emperor orders to which Alexander responded by (I am earnestly praying that Arius might perish before this could happen). Of course, the bishop and his followers perceived Arius death or murder as a convenient miracle.  There are several past mishaps by the Church which have been ignored and covered up to continue the control over people.


In the Embryonic stem cell research, after a woman chooses abortion, she may donate her none viable fish stage embryo to scientists instead of discarding it. This is no different from donating a kidney to a good cause or an ova to help fertility except, the donated embryo here is not viable. So Fiorina's remark about Plant Parenthood selling baby parts is a lie and a very ignorant statement far from the truth, and she is just a sample of the people who run the country.

President Trump stated a woman who has an abortion must be punished by the law! On the same token, I'd say if this is the case, then every male who masturbates must be arrested for murder!

Some people think, they are defending bioethics but cause more harm than benefit by their half-knowledge or ignorance about bio and ethics. For example, bombing abortion clinics or killing staff in those clinics or banning stem cell studies! 
How could someone justify killing humans to defend the potential life of a few cells? It is ignorance to consider a couple of hundred cells in a dish a potential life. Every cell in the human body is a potential for life, based on advanced science. So, according to this concept, every time a person sneezes or scratches a nose, he or she has killed a million potential life! When a male masturbates he is murdering millions of potential life people. 
The main goal, for stem cell research, is to grow new organs to replace failing ones. However, the excitement about cloning is excitement about knowledge and possibilities. People who can't have children now can have children with their own body, not others. If we do not address every new possibility we will never progress. When Michael Faraday discovered electromagnetism he never knew what to do with it! He never expected it to lead to the motor and also become the base for our communications and civilization.
It's all relative, if you are religious you may justify abortion under specific circumstances but other religious people do not under any circumstances. If you consider rape a justification for abortion, other religious more literal people say a child from rape is God's will. A girl who has been raped must go through pregnancy and birth and raise the child of her rapist or give it to adoption. This is very difficult for any mother. I believe to my core this is ridiculous. 
We need bioethics that is not influenced by any religious opinions because they vary. Bioethics must be influenced only by the standard humanity values Bioethics should not be affected by a specific religion because religions contradict each other. Unfortunately, Bioethics in a society is highly based on the dominant religion in that society. Bioethics in Egypt is totally different from Bioethics in the USA. 
How can you take in consideration aspects of cultural and common human values in the USA for example if they are different from religion to religion and culture to culture within the same society? Organ transplant and blood transfusion are life-saving but forbidden according to Jehovah's witnesses. Muslims refuse bovine based insulin or heart valves. Pure Chathlic Christians refuse any abortion, Embryonic Stem Cell treatment, and the use of condoms even in the face of HIV. How can you decide what to apply to whom?
My philosophical issue here is how can we call it COMMON human ethics and it is different from place to another or even from religion/culture to another within the same society? How can we respect and accommodate all religions and cultures equally while they oppose, and ridicule each other? What gives us the right to force what we call common human ethics on others when it comes to minors and not just the adults? 
Talking about political agenda and policies, what makes ignorant politicians have the right to make decisions about something beyond their level of intelligence, education, knowledge or comprehension. What gives the right to politicians to make laws only based on their factless beliefs. Why do men in political power decide for women when to have a child or what to do with their bodies, vaginas or uteruses. Why do people care so much and want to control other's private life, behavior, sexuality or what they do with their genitals or rectums, Who cares? 
I think it is delusional to believe we can accommodate all religions equally. The only way to accommodate all religions is to disregard them all and come up with a none-cultural and a none-religious set of basic human ethics.
I like very much when I make people think. It is very simple and not complex at all. It becomes very complex when we try to tailor facts in order to suit our agenda. 
Some may claim the right to abide by and follow the faith of their choice differently from the mishaps of the Catholic Church. They have agreed to ignore some of the Catholic or the Orthodox Church believes because it has conflicting moral issues in spite of 2.2 billion people are following it. Some of the religious dogmas sound better when it comes to human ethics. However, the majority decides what is right and what is wrong and the majority can often be wrong especially compared to another majority somewhere else.
Basic morals have nothing to do with any religion but it has so much to do with basic human nature and ethics. We as human, even primates, and animals, naturally know not to do harm and to do good. We know that any form of killing is unethical. Animals morn death too. When my Grandpa was murdered in Egypt by the hands of some people who believed they were serving their Allah, his horse, and dog cried in tears and starved themselves to death morning him. When my puppy was in pain my other dogs cried like children very sadly and howled very loudly because they felt empathy and knew something bad happened to a creature. 
It is a huge misconception that religions mean morals. Some religions encourage doing harm and killing, some encourage rejecting other people for their different sexual orientation, or faith. Some religions subjugate women and others make them less than men. Most religions threat with eternal fire and hell if you disagree or go to another faith or group even within the same faith. We have been programmed from before the ability to learn how to think to do good out of fear and to believe it is chaos without religion. 
Religions have no role what so ever in countries with best the morals and protected human rights like Sweeden, Norway, Danmark, and Germany. Most religious countries violate human rights and morals like Colombia, El Salvador, and Mexico, not to mention the entire Islamic world from Egypt, Saudi, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sudan, to Iran. Why do we need theologians, religious people to decide for us?? We are smarter and more knowledgeable to think and decide for ourselves. We need smart experts in the field to help us decide what is good for us.

For example, what makes ISIS doings right and OK in some fundamental societies but a crime in others? and what is it good for if societies condemning ISIS are so far away and will have no impact on the people who suffer? What gives us the right to force our values on others? 
Why do we need to consume or energy time and money to make laws or to regulate who marries whom, who goes to which bathroom, or who sleeps with whom? Is it for the sake of morals? What are Morals? The details of morals are different from religion to religion and place to place. 
Doing good, empathy and love come naturally not out of fear of burning in hell.

When disasters occur anywhere in the world like earthquakes, hurricanes or epidemics- in either Muslim or non-Muslim countries, The USA is the first and sometimes the only country rushes to provide significant help and contributions in the millions of dollars, doctors, nurses, military, rescue teams, engineers, and thousands of volunteers. For examples; Tahiti, Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, China, and West Africa. When a natural disaster happens in the USA none really helps.
The USA just has donated Egypt $1,450,000,000.00 in 2017. The USA gives Egypt about 1,300,000,000.00 every year, The USA has given the Egyptian Military over $30,000,000,000.00 in aid, all from the taxpayers' money, yet you find some Egyptians celebrating the US disasters like 9/11 or Hurricane Irma. Unfortunately, some or many Egyptians are mind twisted and believe they are entitled to the infidel's money, women and children like some of the religious verses teach. For example in Sahih Bukhari: (Sa'd said, "So I give my judgment that their warriors should be killed and their women and children should be taken as captives." The Prophet said, "You have judged according to the King's (Allah's) judgment." (See Hadith No. 447, Vol. 5)) This is the only way to explain the unbelievable amount of ungratefulness and hatred some Middle Easterners have to the West regardless of what good you do to them. It will never stop until they stop this kind of teachings. It might take several generations, or hundreds of years if it happens at all!

In the beginning, the God Atum created himself from the primordial water of Nun. Nut is the Egyptian Sky Goddess and the mother of all Gods. She was worshipped for thousands of years and longer than any known current God. She is depicted nude arching over the earth. Ra the sun God floats on her body all day and sets in her mouth, then goes through her body at night until it is reborn from her uterus every morning. Geb the God of the earth has intercourse with her constantly. She gave birth to the Gods Isis, Osiris, Set, and Nephthys. She is the Creator and protector of earth. Set Killed his brother Osiris.


Isis the Egyptian Goddess was worshiped for thousands of years. She was born from Geb the god of the earth and Nut the goddess of the sky. She married her brother Osiris who was killed and mutilated by his brother Set. The Nile River floods every year because of her tears over her husband. Finally, she was able to recollect his body parts and made his resurrection from death. She conceived the falcon-headed God Horus from Osiris and she is depicted nursing him like Mary and Jesus. Like Mary, She is the Goddess who listen to the prayers of the poor and the slaves as well as the rich. If the kings or humans have been good during their lives, they go through a gate after they die and live with their loved ones for eternity. If the humans have bad deeds in their life, they go to the underworld after they die and they will be tortured by a monstrous alligator for eternity

Zeus the God of the sky, the ruler of heaven and earth was worshiped by the Greeks for hundreds of years. He is very powerful and able to throw lightning from the sky. His father Cronus used to eat his sons to take their power in order to keep his throne. Zeus survived because his mother hid him and tricked Cronus by giving him a rock to eat instead of Zeus. When Zeus grew strong, he rebelled against his father and killed him and banished his Titans into the underworld. He gave his father mustard and wine to drink and made him throw up his sons. Zeus won a draw over his brothers Poseidon and Hades and took his father's throne to rule over all the Olympian Gods. He has 9 children they all were demigods, ie sons of God and Human or Goddesses. One of his famous sons is Hercules the son of a human woman named Alcmene.

Innana/ Ishtar (Ester) the Goddess of love and sex from the Mossepetanian time 3500 BCE. She went to the underworld and by the seventh gate, she was stripped naked and killed. She died and was hung by a hook or a nail. 3 days later she resurrected from death.


In the beginning, Omnipotent God Jahuva was hovering over the primordial water like Atum. He created the universe in only 6 days 6000 years ago. He created humans then he got angry at them and punished them by death and torture in hell for eternity because humans disobeyed and ate a fruit. The first human son Able killed his brother Cain like Set and Osiris. Several years later, God got very angry at the people he created because they disobeyed and had too much sex with each other and the daughters of the earth so he exterminated all of them as well as all his creations by drowning asphyxiation in a big flood. A few years later God got so angry at the remaining survivals because they disobeyed and had homosexual sex so he exterminated them by burning them alive with sulfur lava and fire rain from the sky. A few years later he got angry at humans again but this time, instead of killing humans he ordered humans to kill animals and burn them for sacrifice. He also ordered them to cut the tips of their penises. He set many roles and led his chosen humans to wars and made them burn cities, exterminate and enslave many pagan men, women, children, and animals and take their land. Like the ancient Egyptians, the humans who obey this God and do not eat pork will be rewarded after they die by spending eternity with the spirits of their grandparents and ancestors. Humans who do not will burn in hell for eternity.


Same Omnipotent God, the Lord created the universe. He waited until 2000 years ago and sacrificed himself to himself in the form of his son who he had from a human virgin named Mary to forgive us sins we did not commit but born with from our ancestors whom he created 6000 years ago knowing they will sin. He let a talking serpent trick them into disobeying him and eat a forbidden fruit because it was allegedly their own free will. His son was a son of the God and a human-like Hercules and he was sacrificed, hung on a cross, and went to the underworld to free the dead and was resurrected after 3 days Like Ishtar. If we do not accept his sacrifice, get submerged under water, eat the body and drink the blood of his son the Lord, we will be tortured in hellish lakes of burning sulfur and fire for eternity with evil people, devils, and babies who died before having a chance to get baptized. We will never die but continue to burn in pain. Humans who obey and accept this, especially who never had sex will be rewarded after they die by spending eternity praying to the Son of God.


The same Omnipotent God Allah wrote a perfect book in Arabic before he created the universe. He waited for billions of years and only 1400 years ago, he sent an Angel creature from heaven to dictate the book to an illiterate 40-year-old Arab man in a cave in the Arabian desert. In this book, God ordered everyone to Kill anyone who refuses to believe in him or his Arab man or anyone who believes but refuses to kill the disbelievers. God ordered to never stop the killing until everyone in the entire world becomes a believer.This God also ordered to take all the women captured in war as sex slaves and rape them with as many women as they like and marry 9-year-old girls. He also ordered to flog, amputate, stone to death, and or behead in public, whoever disobeys, drinks alcohol, steals, or has sex outside marriage or has homosexual sex. The humans who do not obey this should be killed first then they will burn in hell, grow new skin then burn again for eternity. The humans who obey especially those who die trying to kill the disbelievers and never eat pork will be rewarded after they die by eating fruits, drinking wine and having sex with virgins and boys for eternity.

Belief without evidence is bad science. Belief without evidence is good religion.
I don't think this argument is about winning or changing minds, it is about opening minds to facts, possibilities, and knowledge. I do not believe traditional faith argument or bible verses may change my mind because I have a full life of faith and understanding of the bible. I used to believe in all the religious answers and justifications. I used to think faith and science are compatible because I used to have little knowledge. It became clear that religion and science are not and will never be consistent. It is terrifying to get out of the comfort zone and question a lifelong belief based on no evidence. It must be embarrassing to realize the chains people have around their neck wrists and ankles all their life do not actually exist

Richard Dawkins was sued for stating "It is absolutely safe to say that if you meet somebody who claims not to believe in evolution, that person is ignorant, stupid or insane (or wicked, but I'd rather not consider that)." 
Believe here does not mean Faith or Worship. The belief in Science does not intend to pray, build an altar and provide sacrifices to Science like people did and do to Gods. No need to worship Science, the existence of bacteria, or the atom. Scientists believe in the presence of bacteria, molecules, as well as Evolution because they are all proven facts. Let us say you are a doctor, an expert in your field, you spent your life learning, practicing, and innovating your expertise about the human body. Richard Dawkins is an expert in Biology. He spent his life observing proves of Evolution, studying and researching Biology. I imagine when someone tells Dawkins "I do not believe in the Evolution," must sound like someone is telling a doctor "I don't believe in the colon." 

When I knew little, I was like 43% of Americans an Absolute Creationist ( God suddenly created everything as it is). When I learned about some of the scientific evidence of Evolution, I became like 30% of Americans a Theistic Evolutionist (Evolution happened, but God made it happen). When I learned more pieces of evidence, it became apparent God had nothing to do with it, and I became an Absolute Evolutionist. By God, I mean the God known to the existing 50 or 60 thousand religions in the world. There is one Science and 50,000 or more Gods. When you state the Big Bang, the Dark Mater, or the Higgs Bosoones Particles is maybe God, you are precisely applying the (God of the Gaps) method which is (What we can't explain yet is God). It is very contradicting to religions to say the Big Bang is the god because in a way it means Theology agrees with Science until Science proves it wrong. Science has not discovered how the big bang happened yet, but Quantum Mechanics and Physics proved things like electrons may exist in 2 places at the same time and particles can come in and out of existence. Quantum Physics may very soon explain how something like the Big Bang can come into existence from nothing.
