Human Nature

We all know Human is the most intelligent animal existed on the face of the earth and being human means gentleness, honesty, and mercifulness. 
However, science proves some animals are smarter than humans in certain performances. Mice and some other animals may consider humans stupid because they do not feel the tsunami coming, run uphill or a mountain, but they stay for their death. Lions may consider humans less intelligent because they can’t recognize smell from far or see at night. So, humanly is smarter based on the human scale, not the animal scale. Also, the records of human history prove that human is a cruel animal who dominated the earth and about to destroy it. As well as, being human often means greed, deceit, and inflicting severe suffering on other humans and animals.

Animals are territorial, they form gangs, fight, and kill. Animals kill to survive. However, no animal ever gathered in the hundreds of thousands to organize wars for the extinction of others from its own species. Human is the only animal that kills for a belief or an idea. The only animal that is willing to die for an opinion and sometimes torture others who did not believe in it. The dinosaurs dominated Earth for millions of years, but they never threatened to exterminate life on earth. The domination of the human species as we know it dates only 10,000 years and it has already slaughtered many animal species to extinction and threatened to destroy the earth with wars and atomic bombs.

Gambling is a multibillion-dollar industry based on the psychology of human positive reinforcement behavior. Pathological gambling is considered a form of addiction. Burrhus Frederic Skinner is one of the first psychologists to study and prove addiction behavior in animals. He observed the effects of the positive reinforcement behavior in the Skinner box. Some scientists consider addiction of gambling a biochemical disorder due to the release of neurotransmitters. Other psychologists consider the pathological gambling a psycho-behavioral disorder such as obsessive-compulsive disorder. Casinos regularly create an attractive and pleasant environment which is proven by some studies to increase the urge to gamble. If this pleasant environment is disturbed via negative reinforcement, the urge to gamble is noticed to decrease. For decades, it was believed that a big win early in the career of a gambler will lead to pathological gambling. The researches proved this theory wrong hence the new gambling machines are now programmed to give jackpots at a much lower rate than their predecessors. Scientists surveyed an increase in compulsive behavior in pathological gamblers and addicts compared to non-gamblers and non-addicts. Problem gambling is a psychological, behavioral, and addictive disorder due to a false positive reinforcement belief which has no definite cure.

Burrhus Frederic Skinner’s research and survey about the Operant Behavior explain the nature of gambling behavior. Skinner used three reinforcement methods to train rats in the Skinner box. In the first module, the rat learned to receive food (reinforcement) every time it touched the leaver. In the second module, the rat learned to obtain food after touching the leaver in a sequence of fixed number. In the third module, the rat learned to receive food when it contacted the leaver in a completely random sequence. After the rats adapted the reinforced behavior, Skinner discontinued rewarding their behavior with food. The first rat quit touching the leaver shortly after a few failed trials. The second rat also stopped stroking the leaver at a sequence of a fixed number after it was not reinforced for a long enough time. On the other hand, the third rat which behavior was reinforced randomly, never stopped touching the leaver. According to Skinner, gambling behavior is based on random reinforcement psychology, hence its addiction. Skinner proved how tempting it is to try and very difficult to quit gambling since the reinforcement is unconditioned or random.

Skinner’s work is based on the observation of basic behavior of simple animals while training in the Skinner box. It defines the simple psychology of gambling in humans. However, the new psychology theories argue that human behavior and psychology is a result of complex multi-factors compared to animals. Moreover, this study did not address the effect of adding negative reinforcement to the random positive reinforcement to represent the loss in case of gambling.

The study compares the subjective urge of gambling after exposure to a gambling cue such as casino atmosphere in two groups of problem gamblers (PG). The first group was exposed to a negative mood induction (NMI). The second group was not exposed to a negative mood induction. Initially, the two groups had an increased urge to gamble upon exposure to the cue factor. The first group experienced a decrease in the urge to gamble after the first and second exposure to negative mood induction. However, the urge increased slightly by time and after the third exposure. The second group had higher urge to gamble than the first group the entire time. However, the urge to gamble decreased gradually as time passes.
In conclusion, associating gambling with negative mood induction leads to decrease the urge to gamble in gambling addicts. On the contrary, in alcohol addiction, negative mood induction increased the urge to drink in alcoholics. This result gives a new vision to approach the treatment of problem gambling.

For many years, gambling was considered an addiction like drugs and alcohols. The principle for treatment was similar to chemical dependency and addiction. Drug use and addiction lead to significant changes in the body physiological functions and neurotransmitters. On the other hand, problem gambling is mainly a psychological addiction. The study above proves that associating the addictive behavior of gambling with a negative psychological factor helps decrease the intensity of the urge to gamble.

This paper approaches the addiction of gambling from multiple points of view. It discusses the biological-chemical and psychological-behavioral theories of gambling addiction. Since the seventeenth-century addiction is known to man as excessive use of a substance due to tolerance, dependence, and withdrawal. In chemical addiction, the body develops a tolerance which is the need to intake of more significant amounts of the drug to achieve the same effect. After tolerance dependency develops in which an individual cannot function without the drug. Withdrawal develops when the addict has severe illness that may be fatal if he or she does not take the drug. The three criteria mentioned above conclude chemical addiction. In a situation of fear, excitement, and thrill, the endocrine system releases neurotransmitters such as endorphins which put the body in a state of elation and prepare for an emergency. The biological-chemical theory blames the excessive gambling on the addiction of the neurotransmitters released during the excitement of gambling. When gamblers develop tolerance, they raise their bets to increase the excitement and the release of more neurotransmitters. Excessive and continuous gambling defines the state of dependency. Gamblers express signs of withdrawal when they report feeling down if they do not gamble for an extended period. The psychological-behavioral theory considers addiction to gambling a behavioral compensation to a psychological need or disorder such as depression. The theory is supported by the obsessive behavior of the nature of gambling. Patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder cannot resist the urge to repeat a specific harmful behavior to fulfill a certain psychological need. Compulsive gambling is substantially consistent with the obsessive-compulsive mental disorder.

This article is trying to prove two different logical and scientific explanations for the addictive behavior of gambling. However, it did not provide any scientific or statistical evidence to support its thesis. It did not provide a comparative study of two populations with increase or decrease of neurotransmitters or the existence of psychological disorder in gamblers.

This study observes that impatience and impulsive behavior are characteristics of animals and pathological gamblers. Animals and gamblers prefer to receive an immediate small win rather than wait for a late big win. The experiment gives pigeons the choice of picking a green light to wait one second for small amount of food or pick a red light and wait ten seconds for a large amount of food. All the pigeons picked the green light which proves that animals are impulsive. When the wait for the small amount of food after the green light was extended to ten seconds and the wait for the large amount of food after the red light was extended to fourteen seconds, most of the pigeons picked the red light. The results conclude that the impulsive behavior has decreased when the waiting time for the fast small reward has increased and when the gap between the waiting time for the fast small reward and the late large reward has decreased.

This paper describes a similar study done on a group of pathological gamblers, a group of pathological gamblers with a drug addiction problem, and a control group. The impulsive gambling behavior was tested in each group by asking questions such as “which do you prefer to receive a hundred dollars now or a thousand dollars after one month?” The pathological gamblers with addiction problem had the highest score for impulsive behavior i.e. choosing the hundred dollars now. The control group of non-gamblers had the lowest score for compulsive behavior i.e. they chose a thousand dollars after one month. The study created a formula to calculate the devaluation of a reward by time. It was noticed that the devaluation due to time is highest when considered by gamblers with addiction and it was the lowest when it came to the control group. In conclusion, this study observes a great correlation between the impulsive behavior and pathological gambling as well as a greater correlation between the impulsive behavior and pathological gambling in people with addiction.

This study addresses gambling from the positive reinforcement behavior point of view only. However, this study did not observe the affect of negative reinforcement which is associated with gambling. Moreover, the study did not suggest a behavior modification for the treatment of pathological gambling.

This research is questioning the “Big Win” hypothesis theory. The “Big Win” theory hypothesizes that the experience of a big win early in one gambling career predisposes that person to become a pathological gambler. This study divided participants with no experience in gambling into four groups. All the groups started a simulated gambling computer program with the same amount of credit. They were instructed to cash out and keep the money at any time they decide to quit the game. The first group game was programmed to give a big win at the first trial and no wins at any other trial. The second group game was programmed to give a big win at the fifth trial and no wins at any other trial. The third group game was programmed to receive two half big wins at the second and fifth trials only. The fourth group received no wins at all during the entire game. The results showed that the group which experienced a big win (jackpot) on the first trial quit gambling the earliest with a mean number of twenty trials. The group which experienced no wins at all was the second fastest group to quit gambling with a mean number of fifty five trials. The group which experienced two small wins on the second and fifth trials was the third group to quit gambling with a mean number of sixty trials. The group which experienced a big win on the fifth trial quit last with a mean number of seventy trials. This study disproves the “Big Win” theory since the results define the expectations. The researchers perform other trails with variable combination of winning and loss. The results showed the same pattern of resistance to extension in all the groups.   

The “Big Win” theory hypothesizes that the occurrence of a big win (jackpot) in the beginning of a gambling session leads to a high resistance to extinction i.e. higher number of trials. This study proves the “Big Win” theory wrong by the numbers and statistics. However, the subjects in this study are people with no experience in gambling. The behavior of experienced gamblers may be different than the participants in this study hence the results as well.

For many decades scientists have been interested in the gambling behavior of human beings. Addiction and gambling have been pared together since gamblers have less ability to resist in spite of its devastating financial harm. In order to treat gambling addiction scientists and psychologist have extensively studied the nature of gambling. In conclusion scientists found that gambling is an obsessive psychological behavior which has an addictive nature similar to a biochemical condition. Pathological gambling is simply caused by simple randomized positive reinforcement behavior. No definite successful therapy has been found yet. However possibly randomized negative reinforcement behavior could be the solution.

Marriage has become a significant risk and a disadvantage, if you worked hard all your life and became wealthy. Why does your spouse who has never worked have the right to take half your money and your income when he or she decides to divorce you? The law awards divorce for irreconcilable difference and awards alimony to the spouse making no or less income. Divorce laws in California should be changed. The current divorce laws are ancient and inappropriate for the time we live. No spouse should have the right of alimony, money, or property that belongs to the other spouse. Each spouse should have the ability to separate his or her own wealth, income, or money.

“An Appraisal of California’s No-Fault Divorce Law” article by Herma Hill Kay acknowledged “California’s no-fault divorce law became effective in 1970. As the motion’s first “pure” No-fault divorce law, it removed consideration of marital fault from the grounds for divorce, from the award of spousal support, and from the division of property. The art retained fault as a relevant factor during marital dissolution proceedings on only two issues. First, If necessary, a fault could be used to prove the existence of one of the no-fault grounds for dissolution; irreconcilable differences that had caused the irremediable breakdown of the marriage. Also, a fault was admissible on the question of the child custody to show that parental custody would be detrimental to the child.” That is what happened to Professor Ron Smith from Sacramento, who married a pretty young lady and had 3 children. One day his wife started an affair with his oldest child’s tutor. She decided to divorce her husband to continue her relationship. She got the house and most of his salary until retirement in children and spousal support. The poor man moved into a small apartment and got to see his children every other weekend while his ex-wife enjoyed spending his money on her lover.

The divorce laws protect women who do not have a job and stay at home to raise the children by providing them the benefit of spousal support. It is acceptable that the current laws protect women who do not have jobs and stay at home to raise the children. “Inequalities for Women in the California Divorce Law” an article published in Journal of Divorce & Remarriage summarized “When California introduced the no-fault divorce law in 1970, is intended to perpetuate equality between men and women through financial and economic means. However, this brought about unexpected consequences as more and more cases of women experiencing economic hardships began to surface. The law did not take into account the impaired opportunities marriage brings to women, and thus could not see the significance of intangible property that should have been included into marital assets that are divided equally among couples upon divorce.” Nowadays the majority of women have jobs, and it is ubiquitous to have higher positions and make more money than their spouses. Now raising a child is not only the mother’s responsibility, but both parents take equal parts financially and usually hire babysitters.
In some cases, the father is the one who stays at home to raise the children. The law should not encourage the lower income spouses to quit their job to collect spousal support. Each spouse should be able to keep his or her own separate properties, money, and ownership before and during the marriage and be responsible for supporting his or herself after divorce. Child support should be divided fairly, and a maximum limit should be set. No spouse should take advantage of the other’s welfare using child support as an excuse.

Spousal support was created to provide security for a woman in particular, but now that women have become more independent, spousal support is not necessary. Nowadays it is widespread for women to have high positions and make more money than their spouses. Imagine yourself in Professor Smith’s situation whether you are a man or a woman, the law can support your spouse to take advantage of you, especially when the statistics show that the divorce rate was more than 75% in California in 2002 and it has been increasing by about 0.5% yearly (“Divorce Statistics”). “California Guidelines for Spousal Support” article states “Under California spousal support law, spousal support may be “permanent” or temporary. Permanent spousal support may be ordered in marriages of long duration (generally ten years or more). In short-term marriages (less than ten years); support is generally payable for one half the duration of the marriage.”

I have supported my best friend (Susan) through her divorce. It was a disappointing and sad experience that I hope I never go through. After she had assisted her husband through graduate school for many years, she ended up paying him spousal support and child support until he remarried. According to the divorce law, the spouse who makes more money pays the difference to the spouse who makes less money to keep living in the same living standard. Imagine after supporting your spouse who never works during marriage for many years, you still end up helping him or her for a few years or until he or she remarries. My friend felt angry, disappointed, and used by her lazy husband and the divorce laws in California. If the divorce laws were different, it would prevent taking advantage of many good people by their spouses like my friend. Each spouse should be faced with equal responsibility and account for their children.

After a couple gets married, they should become one, but after the divorce, the couple goes back to become two separate individuals like they used to be before marriage. After a divorce, none of the spouses should have any financial responsibility toward the other since they have separated physically and emotionally. It is very awkward for someone to be financially responsible for his or her divorcee who is dating or in a relationship with another. In my friend’s case, she had to continue paying her ex-husband every month while he was dating another woman until he remarried. My friend felt really helpless, and she could not do anything except continue to abide by the state law.

The California law for spousal support states that a married couple should take the sum of their income and divide by two. This law seems equally fair, but if one spouse makes most of the income and the other makes the least or none, the sum of both partner’s profits is apparently from only one side.

Child support is justified if limited to a maximum amount, but spousal support is unfair in most cases. It is very possible that a spouse may not be able to have a job because taking care of the children consumes all the time. In this case, most probably that spouse has full or most of the custody. Child support from the other spouse who is able to work should cover all the expenses. However, that may encourage the spouse who has the custody to take advantage and unnecessarily quit his or her job. Do you think Kevin Federline deserves $20,000.00 spousal support a month for the rest of his life plus $20,000.00 child support a month because he married Britney Spears for a couple of years? According to Pop Crunch site by Castina; “Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have reached a new spousal support agreement. Brit will pay K-Fed $20,000 on the first of each month until death or his remarriage. Brit, who brings in a monthly income estimated at $737,868, was originally only required to provide her ex-husband with support until November 2007.” It is evident that Kevin is taking significant advantage of his wife’s wealth and it is quite expected that he will never get married so he would continue to receive spousal support. In this case and many other cases, divorce is a money making business.

The Law is not written in stone; it should serve and protect us based on our lifestyle and needs. Over the years, nations have changed continuously and modified laws as life, and social roles changed. A not long time ago, women did not have the right to vote, and minorities suffered a great deal of persecution due to unfair laws that were acceptable socially at the time. We must change the law to fit our life. We have the right to pursue our congressmen to petition a bill for changing divorce laws to protect spouses from taking advantage of each other. When a married couple separates ownership of property and money, it may show that they have no trust in each other and it may sound like you are preparing for divorce when you separate your finances while you are married, nevertheless, let’s be practical and realistic, statistics show that more than 80% of marriages in California end by divorce. In most of the world countries, keeping separate finances and ownership even the last name is the norm. When people choose to get married under the new laws, money will not be a factor and marriage would be more truthful and compatible. Hence, the divorce rate will drop. In the case of divorce, it will be less hassle with less money and time spent on lawyers in court. Sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars are spent in court fighting. According to The article “The average cost of divorce in California” stated “The average cost of divorce in California varies, based on several factors: the type of divorce, filing fees, copying and notary costs, how the papers are served and whether attorneys or specialists are used. For couples who agree on everything, have no children and don't hire attorneys, the average cost is $355 to $400. For couples who disagree, have children together or hire attorneys, the average cost can be tens of thousands of dollars.” Wouldn’t it be more logical to have laws that are clear-cut and less gray so we can spend that money on the children’s education or welfare instead of lawyers?

Bombing Civilians at War

            The first impression of the word “war” is armies of two countries fighting and destroying military targets. However, the casualties of war can become civilians. Once a war starts, it turns unpredictable and uncontrollable. Civilian casualties may begin unintentionally, but in retaliation, civilians become an actual target. The fact is defying the principle and targeting civilians is what ended World War II. In the American experience film, “The Bombing of Germany” by PBS production is a documentary that describes the beginning of the involvement of the United States in World War II in 1942. The documentary explicitly depicts the air riots and the bombing of the military targets near or inside the German cities. The film illustrates the collateral civilian casualties during the attack on strategic targets. Furthermore, it elaborates on how causing massive damage to civilians becomes a justified military tactic in a desperate attempt to end the war. 

The Americans and the British had different views on bombing civilians during World War II. When the United States entered World War II on August 17, 1942, the central principle was to never attack civilians and target only the German military forces. President Roosevelt’s speech on entering the war points up the American good morals regarding the combat. “Under no circumstances undertake the bombardment from the air of civilian population,” said President Franklin D. Roosevelt. According to the documentary “The Bombing of Germany,” hundreds of American B17 bombers attacked the Harbor of Hamburg city in the daylight using box formations to cause precise damage to military targets and avoid civilian populations. Flying during the day exposed the American bombers and pilots to being detected and attacked by the German Air Defense.
On the other hand, the British, especially after the German bombers hit residential areas in London by mistake, started targeting cities as part of war tactics. The British fighters attacked Hamburg at night throwing thousands of silver foil strips to confuse the German radars. The British bombers dropped hundreds of thousands of tons of explosives on the city. Even though the American Air Forces followed the rules as strictly as possible, the collateral civilian damages were indescribable after the bombing of Hamburg. Sixty percent of the city was destroyed, fifty thousand civilians were killed and one million became homeless. The civilian casualties were unavoidable and the Allies hoped that this attack may help end the war.

In spite of the civilian damages, the German army resisted and Hitler refused to end the war. The Allies decided to target German lines of production in Berlin hoping that will motivate the Germans to overthrow Hitler and end the war. American experience film, “The Bombing of Germany,” estimates from the seven million Germans who lived in Berlin, tens of thousands were killed, half a million were left homeless, six hundred RAF planes were destroyed, and still, Germany never surrendered. In August 17, 1943, the Allies turned to bomb the industrial city of Schweinfurt. Under the leadership of General Aker, hundreds of B17 bombers flew unescorted over Germany to bomb their targets and flew back. The Air Force faced more than twenty percent casualties; one in four American pilots and co-pilots were killed. In December 1943, General Jimmy Doolittle took over command and launched a B17 strike escorted by P51 Mustang fighters on oil facilities, airplane factories, and railroad lines with great success and minor casualties. The destruction of the German airplanes led to the invasion on D Day under no air attack from the Germans. Regardless of the major civilian casualties compared to military casualties on the German side, Hitler continued the war. Hitler’s resistance led the Allies to consider bombing Berlin itself.

Toward the end of the war, a major change of the American war tactics and ethics took place. According to the documentary, in the beginning of 1944, in order to end the war the United States forces faced a great pressure to attack Berlin. The operation called “Thunder Clap” and its purpose was to destroy the enemy morals and force Hitler to surrender. However, the concept was rejected since it is against the American ethics of war. After the rise of the German jet fighters and Hitler’s refusal to surrender, finally, the Americans decided to attack Berlin City on February 3, 1945. Two hundred thousand Germans were killed and most of Berlin was destroyed, which had a great impact on ending the war. Hundreds of thousands of British and American soldiers were killed. Half a million Germans and twenty million civilians in Europe died. During the entire war, the Americans resisted bombing civilians on purpose which led to prolonging the war for years. However, once they changed their principle and attacked Berlin, they won the battle.

The Allies considered it shameful to kill innocent civilians, but more shameful not to end this war at any price. After attacking the civilians once, it became easier and less controversial to do it a second and a third time. One month after the attack on the civilians in Berlin, the United States forces incinerated Tokyo and killed one hundred thousand people in one attack. Soon later, the United States dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to win the war against Japan. Targeting civilians became a tactic to win wars.

In the history of wars, millions of soldiers died in the battle fields. Armies with heavy combat equipments resulted in massive military damage and destruction. Wars are easy to start but very difficult to stop or control. A conflict may commence strictly military, but soon it involves cities and civilians. Civilian casualties happen by misfortune or to inflict fear and despair in order to force the enemy to surrender. Wars are justified for noble causes to die for, by nations and their leaders. These noble causes may deceive the warriors into believing in good war morals, like avoiding the killing of unarmed civilians. Nevertheless, the instinct of survival leads to kill or be killed and urges to win the war at any price or moral. The most horrific crimes severely punishable by the law are justified and not penalized during a war. Actually, the destruction of Berlin, Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki and the killing of civilians is what ended the war with Germany and Japan. The severest loss and harm either intentional or collateral occurs to civilians, during or after a war.

You will find many, if not most of the listed potential adverse effects to MMR and other vaccinations. There hasn't been a perfect drug or a magic pill discovered yet. There is always a small price to pay compared to the great benefit. The facts are; Some fatal diseases have killed hundreds of millions in the past (1/3 of the population in Europe died from the plague. 90% of the Native Americans died from Smallpox and even from common cold brought in by the immigrants from Europe). Some of these diseases are eradicated from the face of earth because of vaccinations and antibiotics. I think the solution is to perfect vaccinations not to go back to Medieval times. If you read further into those anti-vaccination articles, you will find them talk about people who sued the vaccines companies for compensations. You will not find comparative statistical analysis or factual numbers to justify your judgment. You will also read about the Church's opinion of the matter since some human elements or dead fetuses tissues have been used to prepare vaccines. I am not pro-pharmaceutical companies making billions by scaring people into buying drugs for they are blinded by money. I am not pro Lawyers trying to make billions by rubbing off Pharmaceuticals and scare people into idiotic backward ignorant life for they are also blinded by money. I am not pro letting the Church People decide on a very scientific matter which will hinder what happens with my only life on earth for they are preoccupied by the next life. I would remove all hidden motives and explore the FACTS to make a decision to the best of our knowledge. Maybe in the future, we will discover that we were wrong, but this is the best we know for right now.

We can't make exceptions for each group based on their beliefs. It is impossible to please everyone, and that is why we have a Civil Law. We can't challenge the law, but we can change it through our Congress, Senate and Supreme court. We are not in a one culture one religion isolated society. We are in a multi-culture and multi-religion society. What is haram (forbidden) for you may be acceptable for others and what is haram (forbidden) for others may be right for you. The principle is We cant apply one role that suite one group to everyone, even if it was the majority. That is why many leave their home countries and came to America. If it is OK for the majority to force its roles on the minority, then ISIS is doing right in the Middle East, and soon Sharia Law will be acceptable!! If serving pork or alcohol is against your faith, do not take a job as a butcher or a bartender!

Go online find a site like Search Koran Verses and type in some keywords like kill, fight, infidel, paradise or women and you will find hundreds of verses supporting what ISIS and the terrorists are doing today. 


Abrogation in the Quran means to forget and substitute a verse with a newer and better one based on the change of circumstances. 

ISIS and the Terrorist Jihadists justify their actions relying on the Abrogation in Quran. That is why they ignore all the peaceful verses and only follow the verses of the Jihad, war, killing, beheading and the torturing of the non-believers of Islam, as well as the capturing, raping and enslaving the nonbelievers' women.

For example, the verses about peace, acceptance, and tolerance of the non-believers of Islam were written early on, in a time when Muslims were unable to fight or kill the infidels.  Years later, the Muslims increased in number, became stronger and started wars with the non-believers.  At this time, verses of peace were Abrogated or replaced by verses of Jihad which ordered the Muslims to fight the infidels to death, kill them where ever they find them, behead them, torture them, and capture, rape, and enslave their women.

  Chapter 2 The Cow سورة البقرة - Al-Baqara: Verse 106

مَا نَنْسَخْ مِنْ آيَةٍ أَوْ نُنْسِهَا نَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ مِنْهَا أَوْ مِثْلِهَا ۗ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that Allah Hath power over all things? 

Chapter 9 Repentance سورة التوبة - At-Taubah: Verse 28


يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْمُشْرِكُونَ نَجَسٌ فَلَا يَقْرَبُوا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَٰذَا ۚ وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ عَيْلَةً فَسَوْفَ يُغْنِيكُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ إِنْ شَاءَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
O ye who believe! Truly the Pagans are unclean; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque. And if ye fear poverty, soon will Allah enrich you, if He wills, out of His bounty, for Allah is All-knowing, All-wise. View more verses

Chapter 9 Repentance سورة التوبة - At-Taubah: Verse 5

فَإِذَا انْسَلَخَ الْأَشْهُرُ الْحُرُمُ فَاقْتُلُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدْتُمُوهُمْ وَخُذُوهُمْ وَاحْصُرُوهُمْ وَاقْعُدُوا لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍ ۚ فَإِنْ تَابُوا وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ فَخَلُّوا سَبِيلَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيم 

But when the forbidden months are past, then fight 
(THE ACCURATE TRANSLATION FOR THE ARABIC WORD "QATELO" IS; FIGHT TO DEATH OR KILL UNTIL YOU ARE KILLED. THE MORE ACCURATE TRANSLATION TO FIGHT A WAR IS "HAREBO") 
and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. View more verses

Chapter 5 The Table Spread سورة المائدة - Al-Maeda: Verse 82لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا ۖ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقْرَبَهُمْ مَوَدَّةً لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّا نَصَارَىٰ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَانًا وَأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
Strongest among men (PEOPLE) in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans, and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant. Chapter 2, 244, 2; 
وَقَاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
And fight ( KILL) in the cause of Allah and know that Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
Chapter 47 Muhammad سورة محمد - Muhammad: Verse 4
فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَضَرْبَ الرِّقَابِ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَثْخَنْتُمُوهُمْ فَشُدُّوا الْوَثَاقَ فَإِمَّا مَنًّا بَعْدُ وَإِمَّا فِدَاءً حَتَّىٰ تَضَعَ الْحَرْبُ أَوْزَارَهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ لَانْتَصَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ لِيَبْلُوَ بَعْضَكُمْ بِبَعْضٍ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَلَنْ يُضِلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ
Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers(WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN ISLAM OR MUHAMMAD), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost. View more verses

Chapter 8 Spoils of war, booty سورة الأنفال - Al-Anfal: Verse 60وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَمِنْ رِبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ وَآخَرِينَ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ ۚ وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ شَيْءٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تُظْلَمُونَ
Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly. View more verses

Chapter 4 The Women سورة النساء - An-Nisa: Verse 56
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِنَا سَوْفَ نُصْلِيهِمْ نَارًا كُلَّمَا نَضِجَتْ جُلُودُهُمْ بَدَّلْنَاهُمْ جُلُودًا غَيْرَهَا لِيَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا
Those who reject our Signs, We shall soon cast into the Fire: as often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for fresh skins, that they may taste the penalty: for Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise. View more verses

وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَخْرِجُوهُمْ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَخْرَجُوكُمْ ۚ وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ ۚ وَلَا تُقَاتِلُوهُمْ عِنْدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ حَتَّىٰ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِيهِ ۖ فَإِنْ قَاتَلُوكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ جَزَاءُ الْكَافِرِينَ
And slay (kill) them wherever ye (kill) catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith. View more verses

Chapter 8 Spoils of war, booty سورة الأنفال - Al-Anfal: Verse 65يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَرِّضِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ ۚ إِنْ يَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ عِشْرُونَ صَابِرُونَ يَغْلِبُوا مِائَتَيْنِ ۚ وَإِنْ يَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ مِائَةٌ يَغْلِبُوا أَلْفًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ
O Prophet! rouse (URGE) the Believers to the fight (accurate translation is; the killing). If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers: for these are a people without

Chapter 9 Repentance سورة التوبة - At-Taubah: Verse 14
قَاتِلُوهُمْ يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللَّهُ بِأَيْدِيكُمْ وَيُخْزِهِمْ وَيَنْصُرْكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيَشْفِ صُدُورَ قَوْمٍ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Fight (kill) them, and Allah will punish (torture) them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts (chests) of Believers,

Chapter 26 The Poets سورة الشعراء - Ash-Shuara: Verse 130وَإِذَا بَطَشْتُمْ بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِينَ
"And when ye exert your strong hand, do ye do it like men of absolute power?
The accurate translation for (exert your strong) is exert your strong without justice

Chapter 47, 38
فَلَا تَهِنُوا وَتَدْعُوا إِلَى السَّلْمِ وَأَنْتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ وَاللَّهُ مَعَكُمْ وَلَنْ يَتِرَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ
Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost: for Allah is with you, and will never put you in loss for your (good) deeds.

Chapter 3,169,4; 
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ
And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision,

Chapter 52, 20 Al-TOR ; 
مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مَصْفُوفَةٍ ۖ وَزَوَّجْنَاهُمْ بِحُورٍ عِينٍ

They will be (THE MARTYRS) reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women (special heavenly ones) with large, [beautiful] eyes.

CHAPTER 47 Muhammad 15, 

 مَثَلُ الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ ۖفِيهَا أَنْهَارٌ مِنْ مَاءٍ غَيْرِ آسِنٍ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ لَبَنٍ لَمْ يَتَغَيَّرْ طَعْمُهُ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ خَمْرٍ لَذَّةٍ لِلشَّارِبِينَ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ عَسَلٍ مُصَفًّى ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ        كَمَنْ هُوَ خَالِدٌ فِي النَّارِ وَسُقُوا مَاءً حَمِيمًا فَقَطَّعَ أَمْعَاءَهُمْ     

Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?
Chapter 4 The Women سورة النساء - An-Nisa: Verse 34
الرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ وَبِمَا أَنْفَقُوا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ ۚ فَالصَّالِحَاتُ قَانِتَاتٌ حَافِظَاتٌ لِلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ اللَّهُ ۚ وَاللَّاتِي تَخَافُونَ نُشُوزَهُنَّ فَعِظُوهُنَّ وَاهْجُرُوهُنَّ فِي الْمَضَاجِعِ وَاضْرِبُوهُنَّ ۖ فَإِنْ أَطَعْنَكُمْ فَلَا تَبْغُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ سَبِيلًا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيًّا كَبِيرًا
Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them, refuse to share their beds, and beat them; but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all). Chapter 4 The Women سورة النساء - An-Nisa: Verse 3
وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلَّا تُقْسِطُوا فِي الْيَتَامَىٰ فَانْكِحُوا مَا طَابَ لَكُمْ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ مَثْنَىٰ وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ ۖ فَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلَّا تَعْدِلُوا فَوَاحِدَةً أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَلَّا تَعُولُوا
If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry (accurate translation for "enkaho" is; f..k or; do the act of sex, the word for marrying is "tazawajo" not "enkaho"). marry (f...k) women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive/slave) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice.


This translation from Arabic to English sounds very gentle and neutral. However, the accurate Arabic translation the meaning is graphic, direct, clear,  and aggressive ). Also, according to the Koran, The power of the Koran is in the Arabic language and for that, it should not be translated! Words in the Arabic language have several meanings and synonyms. It takes the KNOWLEDGE of native and classic Arabic to have the accurate meaning and the knowledge of English to translate correctly.

Some refuse blood transfusion, and soon they die

Some refuse organs transplant, and they also die

Some refuse stem cell treatment, and they die

Some refuse advance knowledge, and they’ll die

Some at the name of god, just want to die

Some suicide bombers kill everyone to die

Some don’t care how they live but how to die

Some forget even how to live before they die

Are people given life, so they kill or die?!

What a waste of life for the after they die?!  

If life is a test and the results are after they die,

Aren’t the results known before they're even born or die?!

No one told us how was the test after they did actually die?!

Some people wear green eyeglasses, so their whole world looks religiously green!

Other people wear red eyeglasses, and their world looks religiously red, not green!

If you don't see the one color they’re seeing, they consider you less of a human being

They usually fight about the real color of the world, and they become mean!

They want to kill and or die for the one color they believe they are seeing

They will never see the real world, their eyes are covered in red or green

They will never know, the real world is actually neither red or green

They will never know the actual colors they could have seen

If they take not off their glasses, they remain color blind inhuman being

Capitalism vs. Socialism
With all due respect, neither extreme Capitalism nor Socialism is acceptable. They both lead to corruption. 
The power went to the hands of the few, the very rich in the USA and to the government leaders in the former Soviet Union. It is not fair for an entire nation to be poor and hungry like in North Korea. However, it’s not fair when billionaires pay 15% of their income in taxes while the hard working middle class pays 39%. Neither is justice or humanity. 
If the country has enough trillions of dollars to spend on war and bail corrupt billionaires and businessmen, it has enough money to provide free healthcare and education. We must have Regulations to prevent big corp from harming ordinary people financially.
